Adventurous nights seem to be the theme for New Year’s Eve in Miami, and this year was no exception. New trendy restaurant at Moxy hotel where I was supposed to have dinner with friends got flooded—a fire alarm went off. Whether it was a prank by competitors or the universe’s way of signaling that I needed a change of plans, I found myself scrambling for a new way to ring in the New Year. Little did I know, the change would lead me to one of the most exclusive parties in the city, perched high above Miami with an unobstructed 360-degree view of fireworks.

Surrounded by hors d'oeuvres, flutes of champagne generously poured, neon lights, and live music, I had a moment of stillness amidst the fête. As I gazed at the stars from rooftop, I felt a sudden wave of solitude. My mind began to wander—how many times had I chosen to be nice over choosing myself? How often had I stifled my voice, trying to fit into an image of beauty or success for others? How many achievements were driven more by the expectations of my family than my own dreams? One tear slid down my cheek, catching the starlight as it fell, and in that instant, I knew: this could not go on.

CHANGE is not a momentary event; it is a mantra, a perpetually-evolving continuum into the best version of oneself. And as the clock ticked toward midnight, I made my New Year’s resolutions:

  1. Make self-love the silver lining of everything I do—a guiding principle in both small decisions and grand pursuits.
  2. Health is the foundation of a good life—I will do everything in my power to protect and cherish this treasure.
  3. Underwear, often overlooked, is a tool for well-being—I want my choices in this intimate department to reflect love for myself, not the judgments of others.
  4. Spend time sharing knowledge about health and well-being—so many women remain unaware of the harmful chemicals in hygienic goods and underwear that can negatively impact their health.
  5. Find true love while keeping self-love first—because only a whole, self-loving heart can truly love another.

As I finished listing my resolutions, the clock struck midnight. The first chime reverberated through the night, and I felt a profound shift—within me and around me. For the first time, I knew with certainty that 2025 would be different, the best year yet.

Here’s to new beginnings, new resolutions, and the best versions of ourselves for every woman out there.

With love and light,
Luna
